The new food code in New Jersey will now be referred to as:  CHAPTER 24

No longer will the food code be spoken as Chapter 12 since the new codification falls under the designation of N.J.A.C. 8:24 which corresponds to Chapter 24 or Title 8 of the Administrative Code.   Information about the new code and an online copy of the new code is available on the NJDOH web site:   http://nj.gov/health/eoh/foodweb/

Various training sessions are being held to update inspectors on the changes.
