NJEHA welcomed NEHA's 71st Annual Educational Conference & Exhibition to Atlantic City New Jersey June 18 to 21, 2007 FANTASTIC! A grand ceremonial opening took place on Monday with a capacity crowd and the keynote talk on how the effects of global warming could impact public health. 1200 Environmental Health Professionals from all over the country participated in the many educational forums. Some of the most popular sessions were the Raw Foods (beyond Sushi) talk which was standing room only, Norovirus outbreak at Yellowstone, and the popular mock trial about a foodborne illness case related to handwashing. A networking luncheon featured 100 exhibitors and also provided an opportunity for attendees to mingle and share experiences. The finale was the President's Banquet with over 500 attendees and the official changeover to NEHA's new President. Next year the NEHA national conference is in Tucson Arizona.
